Meet Beyond the Clinic Door's founding Speech Pathologist, Lyndal. Lyndal is a Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia, has undertaken further training in the assessment and treatment of Childhood Apraxia of Speech. Lyndal also holds an Advanced Diploma in Myotherapy and also has a growing interest in Orofacial Myology.
Lyndal aims to understand each child's individual strengths, personality, and interests. This enables her to build trusted relationships and create a therapeutic environmentwhere children are willing to give things a try, knowing that they will be supported to work through and learn from any challenges they face on their path to becoming skilled and confident communicators.
Over the last twenty years, Lyndal has helped children work towards their communication goals across settings in community, hospital and early intervention services. Lyndal brings transdisciplinary knowledge and interprofessional collaboration into her private therapy services.
